Empties: Products I have used up

Hi there

I have another empties post of products I have used up in the last few months.  I will let you know if I enjoyed the products or not.  So here goes...

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes

I received three packets of the trial size packs, 7 wipes in each, as a gift with purchase offer.
I enjoyed using them, they get the job done and are just as good as the Clicks branded ones I like.  I have not purchased more as the Clicks ones are cheaper.

Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel

I have already purchased another tube of this Simple face wash.  I have always believed in being gentle on my skin in the morning by using gentle face washes as part of my morning skincare routine.
I also use this face wash as night as my pre-cleanse, thereby cutting out the use of pre-cleanse oils, cleansing milks, followed by makeup wipes.  Using this at night has saved me time.  It removes all my makeup. I rinse it off with warm water.  I then follow with my salicylic acid cleanser with a facial brush.  My evening cleansing is then done. In winter, I just want to get finished as fast as possible.

Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner

I know, there is a lot of simple Skin care in this post lol.  I have re-purchased this toner many times over.  It is a staple product for me.  I empty some into a fine mist spray bottle and spray some onto a cotton pad to use on my face.  I love this product.

Oxy Wipeout Pads

Oxy Wipeout Pads is another product I have always repurchased and you guys have seen over & over on my empties posts.  During Summer I use it almost every night.  In winter I try and use it only when I feel I need to, as it can dry out the skin.  Like if I am feeling greasy and feel a breakout under my skin about to appear.  This really does dry out any pimples before they surface, and If I have a breakout, it dries them up over night.  This product contains salicylic acid, so be sure to wear sunscreen during the day.

Left: Garnier Pure Active Daily Cleansing Gel Wash
Right: Pure Active Intensive Deep Pore Gel Wash

I have used up both these face washes and have repurchased the Garnier Pure Active Daily Cleansing Gel Wash (left) 3 times.  The one in the white bottle is supposed to be "intensive" but I find the one in the blue bottle is more "intensive"  The blue bottle is also cheaper for some reason.  It contains salicylic acid and purifying zinc for oily to combination skin prone to imperfections.  It eliminates oil & imperfections & tightens pores.
The white bottle has 2% salicylic acid & herbasoothe for oily to spot prone skin. It fights spots & fades marks.
I always use a salicylic acid face wash at night only with a facial brush, after my pre-cleanse.

Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery Comfort Cream

I absolutely adore the Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery Comfort Cream.  I agree, it is a comfort cream and its very soothing.  I first tried this product when I received a travel size last year (75% the size of a full size). I used the travel size, which lasted me forever, then I cracked open the full size.  Both of them lasted me from last year summer, to the beginning of winter this year.  You only need to apply a tiny bit.  It is supposed to be for normal to dry skin.  I wore this product through all types of weather, cold and hot, and its safe to say that I can use this product all year round, regardless if my skin is oily or dry.  I seldom find night creams that do not  block my pores and I am sensitive to fragrance.  This one is awesome on me.  Who doesn't love a good anti-ageing cream?

Magi Clear Even Skin Plus Bio-Active Cleansing Gel

This product is by the Institute Science At Work.  The whole Magi Cleat Range is sold in Clicks.  This should have been in an old empties post, but I did not include it.  I found the empty bottle the other day and decided to add it to this post.  The Magi Clear range includes a Cleansing Cream, Smoothing Cream Scrub, Gentle Skincare Soap, a Moisturiser and an Anti-marks Serum (which I would love to try)  They are affordable, dermatologist tested and is suitable for all skin types.
I found this face wash to be very gentle.  I feel it would be better for winter time when the weather is colder.  I used this in the mornings only.

Softi Round Cotton Pads 80's

Softi Round Cotton Pads 80's

I always repurchase these over and over.  Most of the time there is a special on at Dischem where you get two packs for R19.99 or 1 pack for R12.99.  Dischem has changed the packaging to blue now, but the quality is still the same.

Bergamotessens

This is another recurring product on my blog.  I pour half a bottle of this in my shampoo and the other half in my conditioner.  It was recommended by a hairdresser and works like a charm.  I like the smell and my hair is healthy now because of this.  No more weak, damaged hair,  The only thing, is that it makes the shampoo watery in consistency (not effectiveness) I can live with that.  It does not do this to the conditioner at all.

I also finished a tub of Perfect Touch Shine & Hold Wax - Shape & Definition.  (No Picture Sorry)
I have repurchased this.  I use it to help give my Pixie cut some definition and shine every morning.

Essence Sun Club Oil Control Paper

These are great to keep in your purse especially in Summer when its hot.  I use blotting papers less in Winter time.  These are inexpensive and a good staple to keep in your hand bag.

Charlie Mega Wink Lash Enhancer Mascara

I bought this mascara because it was on sale for R39 at Dischem.  Wow, I should have bought more than one.  I like it more than the other mascaras that I have raved about.  I would have never purchased this if it was not on sale.  But I think I discovered it too late because it looks like it has been discontinued.  When I went back, the ones left in the sale section, had been opened.   Have a look at the brush.  it kinda looks like the brush on the Revlon Grow-Luscious mascara (the original one).  There was zero clumps, awesome separation of lashes, volume and extended length. .  I have short lashes and believe me when I say that I received compliments when wearing this, even while wearing reading glasses.  I am sad that this is now finished.

Charlie Mega Watt Volumising Macscara

I bought the Charlie Mega Watt mascara the same day I bought the Charlie Mega Wink Mascara.  Sadly, this one didnt do anything for me.  It was just an "okay" standard mascara.  I would use it as a base coat under other mascaras.

The other products I used up consist of hand wash, soap, tooth paste etc., the usual stuff, nothing exciting.

Sorry for the long post, but thanks for reading.

Empties: Body Care - products I have used up

Hi

This is the final empties post.  I posted one for Haircare, Facial Skincare and Makeup.  This one is for Body Care products.

Good Stuff Refreshing Clean Hygiene Hand Wash

Hand wash is a staple in my monthly shopping basket.  I really enjoyed using this one and plan to repurchase although I have been trying different ones.
Good stuff, the skincare company.  Rooibos, lemongrass and ginger.  Cuts grease reduces odour. Shake hands, high-five & keep on hugging.  Spread love, not germs

Garnier Mineral Deodorant in Sensitive

I always repurchase this one in Sensitive.  Garnier has since changed the packaging slightly and I could not find the sensitive one.  So I took the one labelled "Fresh"  These Garnier roll on's dry quickly, and do what they are supposed to do.  I will continue to purchase them.

Avon Care Glycerine Hand & Nail Cream

it is quintessential that I keep hand lotion in my draw at work.  The hygene soap in the bathrooms are really harsh on my hands and leave them feeling dry and parched.  This tube lasted me really long and it did nourish my hands.  I am currently using another Avon hand cream (a silicone one).
So far I prefer the glycerine one better.

Johnsons African Nurture Body Cream

I love using creams in winter and lotions in summer.  This was the right consistency for winter, but I still used it on my feet only in the warmer months.  It has a pleasant smell maybe because it has has Shea butter and honey in it.  I would like to see what other variants are available.

Empties : Haircare - products I have used up

Hi

This empties post is only about haircare products.  I have done one prior for make up and one for facial skincare.  I will also do one for body skincare.

Lennon Bergamot-essens (Essence)

I have blogged about this product before.  I first purchased it because a hair dresser told me what it does for damaged hair.  I was sceptical at first but OMW it really works.  My hair is not damaged any more and it is growing like wild fire.  You pour half the bottle into your shampoo and the other half into your conditioner bottle.  I also like the smell very much.  It retails between R27 and R30.

Dr. Miracles Conditioning Shampoo

I bought this shampoo because I wanted something that would cleanse my hair, but not strip the hair.  It was gentle enough (but not too gentle) and I liked the way my hair felt after using this, not dry like other shampoos leave the hair.   I also added the Bergamotessens to this shampoo.  It was worth it and would like to try other products in the range.

Dove Hair Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo & Conditioner

I purchased this as a value pack in Dischem for about R45, which was well worth it for a 40ml shampoo and a 180ml daily treatment conditioner.  I enjoyed using this.  The treatment conditioner was nice and thick for instant deep nourishment.  It is meant to smooth roughness and frizz which I think it does.

Marc Anthony  Oil Of Morocco Argan Oil Treatment

I have been a fan of Moroccan Argan Oil since it first came out.  It just gives my hair that extra nourishment it needs before blow drying or ironing with out any greasy oiliness.  The hair also seems to stay frizz free for longer.  I have tried other brands of Moroccan oil.  This one was R99.  I have purchased the Moroccan Argain Dry srpay oil (will do a review later).  I am planning on purchasing another brand on sale in Dischem at the moment for R39.95  50ml.

Livon Silky Protein Detangling Hair Fluid

I found this randomly while standing in the queue at Gorimas and decided to try it.  It must have cost about R45 or so.  It has lasted really long since you only need a drop.  It looks like a typical hair serum but it isn't.  Applying this to your hair directly after ironing your hair, makes a huge difference.  It kind of repels frizz and leaves your hair smooth.  My daughter has long hair, and she has a habit of not leaving the conditioner on long enough to nourish the hair.  Therefore her hair gets dry and frizzy.  I use this on heir hair after ironing it, and I see the difference instantly.  I must remember to add it to mu shopping list.

Empties: Facial Skincare - products I have used up

Hi

I have accumulated a lot of empties since I have not blogged in a while.  So I have decided to split my empties posts into different categories.  I have already done one for makeup items that I have used up.  This one I will concentrate on Facial Skincare.  Two more will follow being Haircare and Body Skincare products.

Bionike 50+ Defence Sun Very Highy Protection, Sun Spay Lotion - sensitive and intolerant skin

This is my Holy Grail sunscreen.  I used to use the cream (far left tube) but now I use the spray lotion.  I like both but love the spray more.  The cream is more for winter when my skin is dry.  The spray I can use all year round over any moisturiser.  The bottle lasted me at least a year and I got it on sale.  I have purchased the bigger 200ml bottle this time around.

Bionike Defence 100 Protective and Reinforcing Base Cream.

As you can tell, I love Bionike products.  I have raved about them before.  They might say its for Sensitive skin, but all skin types will love it.  This works so well with the Bionike sunblock mentioned above.  I use this most of the year round (Spring, Summer and Autumn).  I have repurchased this already along with the Bionike Defence 200 Base Cream which I will use during winter when my skin is drier.

***Dischem currently has their sale on.  When you buy two Bionike products, you get a free bag.  I love mine and have used it already.  If you buy a third product, you get an eye cream of your choice free.  I chose the most expensive eye cream of course.  Cant wait for my current eye cream to finish so I can use the Bionike one.***

Simple Soothing Facial Toner
Garnier Pure Active Daily Cleansing Gel Wash

I love the Simple Toner and my skin loves it.  It has no alcohol in it, but still does its job. I use it after my facial cleanser.  I have repurchased this a few times already.  I always decant some into a spray bottle and spray it onto a cotton pad.  I love using it like this and I don't use too much toner this way.  It retails for R59 at Dischem.  At the Dischem sale, you can purchase it for R39 and receive a pack of free Simple mini wipes.  Sale ends 16 March 2014.

Garnier Pure Active Daily Cleansing Gel Wash contains salicylic acid and purifying Zinc (two of my favourite ingredients.  Salicylic acid helps to stop pimples before they even decide that they want to surface.  It kills the bacteria in other words.  I use this with my facial cleansing brush.

Khiels Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

I blogged about this after my sister and I went halvies and bought this.  I really enjoyed using this.  I like serums more in the winter time when my skin is dry although this can totally be used all year round.  I think it was worth the money and my skin did feel better and look brighter in the morning when I woke up.  I might repurchase in the future, for now I have so many samples of serums which I will finish first.

Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover

I received a travel size as a gift with purchase.  Mine is now finished.  You have to shake it to mix the white liquid with the blue liquid then dispense some onto a cotton pad and hold it over the eye for a few seconds, then wipe away your eye makeup.  A very nice product.  I have grown to love Clarins products, and the travel sizes are 3 quarters of the size of their normal products.  Clarins are also very generous with their samples.

Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery Comfort Cream
Another Clarins travel size gift with purchaase that I adored so much, I bought the full size (in the glass jar).  My skin loves it.  It has all the right anti-aging stuff in it.  No fragrances that normally irritate my skin.  I feel the difference in my skin when I wake up in the morning.  It is supposed to be for normal to dry skin, although my skin is combo in summer, I still love it.  The salicylic acid in my cleanser does dry out the skin, so a good moisturiser like this is absolutely welcome.

Dischem Softi 10% Pure Corron Pads

I had to mention these.  I have tried lots of cotton wool and I must say that I hate the rolled up cotton wool and I do not like like the cotton balls either.  I have tried other brands of cotton pads but they don't feel right, or they tear. I always repurchase these.  Fluorescence free cotton pads 80 pieces pure and gentle.  Both sides of the cotton pad have different patterns on it, which makes a difference to me when I apply to my face.  It is always on sale in Dischem.  R12.95 for one pack or two packs for R19.95.  Sometimes you even get three packs for that price.

Ponds Perfect Colour Complex Naturals Gentle Exfoliating Facial foam
Clicks Aloe Vera Omega 3+6 Facial Scrub
I like to use a salicylic acid cleanser in the evening and a mild cleanser in the morning.  I used this up and I quite liked it.  It was not too mild (I use very mild cleansers in the morning in winter).  This one left my skin feeling like it removed all the dirt and oil but my skin was not stripped.  My skin was left comfortable.  It has a cream consistency but is very foamy, which I like.

The Click facial scrub, I used only about twice and forgot about it, but my daughter devoured the rest of the tube.  As you can see the tube is out of shape because of the way she squeezed it.  She obviously loved it.  It was only R29 in Clicks.

Empties : Makeup - products I have used up

Hi There

Since I have not blogged in a while, I have accumulated quite a bit of empties.  So I have decided to split up my posts.  One will be makeup, haircare, body products and facial products.  This post will be all about makeup.

Clarins Everlasting Foundation - 110 Honey

This is my Holy Grail foundation which I have purchased over and over and use practically everyday.  I am looking for a cheaper foundation for everyday, so I can make this one last a bit longer, but the drug store does not make it as good as this unfortunately.

Revlon Age Defying Moisturising Concealer

I have had about three tubes of this excellent concealer.  It covers up under eye circles soo well.  It has been said that it is better than the Mac Pro Longwear concealer in you tube videos.  It brightens up my under eye and conceals well.  HOWEVER, it has been discontinued.  Isn't it annoying that once you find something you like, they discontinue it?  How annoying!

Clinique Airbrush Concealer

Not a fan of this product and I don't think I will repurchase.  It has a brush tip just like the Touch'e Eclat.  It is supposed to illuminate and perfect which I don't see it doing.  Maybe if it had more coverage, I would have liked it better.

Essence I love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara
Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base

I have spoken about these two products before and I will keep on repurchasing as long as they make them. Budget friendly and worth it.

Mac Prep+Prime Lip Base

This is supposed to be a lip primer.  The lip primer I had before this one was excellent and I was on the hunt for a new one since the old is no longer sold in stores.  This product is over priced in my opinion and it is nothing more than a glorified lip balm.  The only time you feel any results is if you apply it and wait like 15 minutes for it dry out on the lips, then apply a lipstick.  This is the only way for your lipstick to last a little longer.  I want to put my primer on, apply my lipstick and run out the door, not wait.  I am currently trying out another lip primer.

Smudge 2-in-1 Eyebrow Fix Pencil

Eyebrow pencils are something I am always on a hunt for.  When I test them out and they are "hard", I don't think twice about leaving them behind.  I have repurchased this one a few times.  Although my hair is dyed black, the shade Blonde is not too light for me surprisingly.  A shade darker would be too dark on me.  I apply the wax end of the pencil first, which allows the colour end of the pencil apply more smoothly.  Then I brush through my brows with the brush that is attached.  Smudge is exclusively sold in Clicks.  I also have a gel eyeliner pencil from Smudge as well.

XOXO

Empties: Products I have used up

Hi All

Today I have an empties post.  These are products that I have used up.  I like watching "empties" videos on Youtube.  You get a feel of which products a person likes and would repurchase, and also which products that did not work for them. This may be a long post, but these are products that I have used up and kept aside especially for this post.

The picture above shows mainly makeup related items:-
Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Light Plus
I absolutely love this product.  I was so sad when it finished.  It was the perfect shade and coverage.  It just made any foundation I wore look even better.  I repurchased the loose version of this as it is supposed to have more coverage.  Not a clever idea on my part, as loose powder is not travel friendly and the loose powder in Light Plus is a little darker than the pressed version.  it may look better on me in summer when my skin is closer to NC30.  The loose powder will definitely last longer though.

Model Co. Lip Primer
I blogged about this product a while ago when I first purchased it.  Lipstick does not last on my lips, until I go this baby.  Unfortunately Edgars / Red Square no longer stock Model Co. products.  I received a sample of the Gosh lip primer which is just okay, it still does not hold a candle to this.  ..

Clarins Everlasting Foundation in 110 Honey
I am on my second bottle of the awesome foundation.  It is my go-to foundation for flawless coverage.  I get full coverage with a flat top buffer brush, or medium coverage with a damp beauty blender.  I cant say enough good things about this foundation.

Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base
I have purchased this a few times already.  Other primers either didn't work or where too drying on my lids.  This one is perfect, keeps my shadows vibrant with zero creasing, and it is relatively cheap.  The only problem is, that the last time I purchased it, it was in the sale bin and there were none of the shelves on the regular Essence stand.  So I hope that it is not being discontinued.

Essence 50 Creamy Nude Lipstick
This was my first nude pink lipstick.  I loved it soo much, I wore it almost everyday until it got finished.  It is a very soft lipstick, so it can melt if left in a warm place especially in summer.  Other than that, it is perfect.

Model Co. Lipgloss in Berry Pink
Model Co. Products are really good in my opinion.  I had purchased the lip primer and received a pack of three full sized lipgloss and a mascara as a Gift with purchase.  I have two more lip glosses left in a pink and a peach shade.

Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Maximum Coverage Concealer in 03 Medium
This is my second pot of this concealer, so I really do like it.  its really creamy and non drying.  The only reason why I have not repurchased a third time and am trying out other concealers is because there is only 1.5g of product in the pot.  So it gets finished really quickly and becomes costly to replenish.  But is really is a star product for me.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat
This stuff gave my nails an intense shine and my nail polish stayed on my toenails for at least three weeks.  The only reason I have not repurchased is because it is like R80.  So I am trying out other brands like Essence and Rimmel to see if I can fine a dupe for it.

As you can see from the picture above, there are a few Almay products.  Next to Bionike products for my sensitive skin, I have come to love Almay products.

Almay Time Off Age Preventative Complex 2-in-1 Cleanser and Toner
This is my second one.  I mainly only use it in the mornings when I want a gentle cleanser.  I still follow with toner though.  I try to use it sparingly because I don't want it to get finished.  It has a pump which is nice.

Almay Time Off Age Preventative Complex Wrinkle Defence Cream -
I have also purchased this cream twice.  I use it as my night cream and also during the day in winter.  It really agrees with my sensitive.  I realy like it.

Almay Problem Solution Firming Hydrating Mask
Plumps, Firms & Renews. For Normal to Dry Skin.  I really enjoyed this in winter.

Almay Eyewise Value Pack (Eyewise Intense Hydration Eye Cream, Get Up & Grow Mascara - Intense Black, and 15 Alymay Oil Free Makeup Remover Pads)  -
I liked all these products.

Sandalwood Blackhead Treatment -
I did a post previously on this product and I have repurchased a few times already.

Sandalwood Scrub
I have not repurchased this,  It was okay for me.  I use the Sandalwood Blackhead Treatment instead.

Travel size products received as a GWP:-
Clarins Hydra Quench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase for Dehydrated Skin
Water based, great for winter
Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream - This was an okay product
Clarins Toning Lotion Alcohol Free with Camomile - This was an okay product
Clarins Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs - It was nice but I prefer the L'oreal one
Elizabeth Arden Ceremide Intense Moisture and Renewal Activation Cream SPF30
Excellent for extra dry skin in winter.

Lennon Bergamotessense - I put half in my shampoo and half in my conditioner and my hair is growing like wildfire.  I have purchased this twice.

Garnier Deodorant.  Mineral Absolute Dry 48H with Mineralite.  0% Alcohol. Anti-perspirant - I have repurchased this over and over.

Innoxa Uplifting Hand Cream spf15 - I received this in a Glambox.  It was okay.  I have a few more hand creams that I received to use up, so I wont be repurchasing it

Justine Tissue Oil Treatment Hair Mask - I was given this by someone at work and I loved it.  It is on sale in the Justine brochure at the moment, so I hope to get another one.

Dr Miracles Deep Conditioning Treatment - It has a strong menthol action to it.  I was given this for my birthday.  I didn't repurchase this , but I did purchase the conditioning shampoo in this brand which I really like.

Bionike Defence Hair Restructuring Nourishing Mask - 2 sample sachets

Dove Extra Sensitive Beauty Cream Bar - I use this as my body soap since I have sensitive skin.  Also it is highly recommended as an intimate wash by doctors.

L'Oreal Tecni Art. Hair Mix Glam Definition Hold 3 - Great on my short hair.  Didn't use it when I first got it.  After I cut my hair, i used it everyday until it finished.  A really good product.  I don't think they make this anymore.

Avon Clearskin Blackhead Clearing Cleanser and Deep Treatment Mask
I bought these along with the cleansing wipes from the same range.  I hated the wipes because it irritated my sensitive skin so I didn't finish them.  These two however, I finished them completey.  They really did keep my blackheads at bay.

Simple Soothing Facial Toner
I highly recommend this product.  No harsh ingredients and it really agreed with my skin.  I am currently trying out a DIY salicylic acid toner.

Clicks cleansing wipes
Cheap and effective.  Another product I have bought countless times.

Oxy Cleansing Soap Bar with added tea tree oil
I have bought this countless times.  I use it at night with my facial brush every night.  It is the best salicylic acid cleanser I have tried.  it keeps acne at bay.

Eskamel Cleansing Pads
I have bought this numerous times but i think that the Oxy ones are a little better.  I buy these when the Oxy ones are sold out.

Bionike 50+ Defence Sun Very High Protection Sun Cream
I firmly believe that this product cleared up my old acne marks I had when I suffered from hormonal acne. It also prevents any new sun spots.  It is the best physical sunscreen I have tried.  My skin reacts to chemical sunscreen.  I have purchased this in the spray lotion which has a thinner consistency.

Bionike Defence 100 Protective & Reinforcing Base Cream
I use this over my Bionike sunscreen every morning.  There is also a Defence 200 Cream for dry skin.  I love this product.  Bionike is made for people with sensitive and intolerant skin, but any skin type can use it.

I also used up and repurchased the Essence I Love Crazy Volume Mascara (Pink tube).  This has become an HG product for me.
Also a tube of E45 cream which I apply to my arms if they get exposed to the sun when I have forgotten to put sunscreen on them in the morning.

Sorry for the extremely long post, but I had to get rid of my empties, so I thought i would share what I had used up.

Thanks for reading

Empties - Products I have finished : June & July 2012

Hi All
There are so many video's and blogs with hauls showing what people bought and their initial opinions to the products.  So while first impressions are good, its nice to know if the products are any good or not.  I have watched a few YouTube video's of gurus showing their "empties" and giving their honest opinion of the products.  So here are my empties.

eskamel-cleansing-soap-bar

Eskamel spot & blackhead cleansing soap bar with Aloe Vera
I have repurchased Eskamel soap bar over and over.  Its that good.  I have already re-purchased a back-up of this.  I use it with a facial cleansing brush.  Although the price has increased, it is still relatively inexpensive.

IMG_20120728_212928

Hair One - hair cleanser and conditioner - dry scalp formula
I had already done a review on this product in a previous blogpost.  It recently went on sale in Dischem, so I purchased two bottles.  I hope they are not going to discontinue it.  It does not have sodium laurel sulphate or parabens in it. I am trying to use products with natural ingredients on my hair.  I have the one for normal hair and for dry scalp.  I like both but prefer the dry scalp formula as my hair is very dry.

Mandy's Ingrown Hair Serum
I was impressed with this product from the first time I started using it and it lasted a long time. There is no burning and is pleasant to use.  I purchased a cheaper version of this in a different brand once this was finished, but Mandy's is way better.  So I will be repurchasing once my other one is finished.

Bionike Triderm Intimate Wash
Another excellent product that I keep repurchasing over and over again.  I went to repurchase another one yesterday and its all sold, which gives you an idea how good and popular it is.  It is sold exclusively to Dischem stores..

IMG_20120728_212632

Rooibos Smoothing Cleansing Lotion
I purchased this because my Loreal Cleansing Milk was finished and this was half the price.
I will definitely repurchase this. It has a pleasant smell, spreads easily on the face and removes makeup.  I also put some on my foundation brushes to remove the residue of my waterproof foundation when I am about to wash my brushes.

Dischem Zero Facial Toner
This is another product I showed in my skincare blog post I did a few months back.  I have been buying this toner for a few years now.  Dischem had a sale whereby you buy one and get the second one free.  Score for me since I only had to pay R29.99 for it. This product has no sodium laurel sulphate or alcohol or any harmful ingredients but still does the job well.  Excellent for sensitive skin.

IMG_20120728_212440

Eskamel Cleansing Pads
I have re-purchased this product about four times now since I first started using it. I cant rave about it enough.  There is obviously a reason why the price has increased for R25 to R41.99 overnight.  I can only use one cleansing pad on my whole face since it is a bit strong but and wash my face immediately afterwards.  I use waterproof foundation and no matter how clean you think your face is, it isn't, and you will see why after you use this.  It even clears out any pimples on my face.  The pimple heals by the next morning.  I highly recommend this product.

Dischem Hands On - Hand and nail cream
I always keep hand lotion in my draw at work.  The hand soap in the toilets above the basin are quite harsh and dry out my hands.  This hand cream was relatively inexpensive and did a good enough job at keeping my hands moisturized. Now that it is finished, I am using a hand cream that I received in my Glambox a few months backs.  I may re-purchase once that is finished.

Estee Lauder Double Wear
Well I have mentioned this product a few times in previous blog posts. It has the best coverage I have ever gotten from any foundation.  I have repurchased this product but I am not using it everyday like I used to because I have extremely dry skin in winter and this is a drier foundation than most.  I have purchased Mac Studio Sculpt for the days that I am really dry and dot Estee Luader on any blemishs that may need concealing.   I have even mixed these two foundations together and applied to my whole face and the the result is awesome.  Mac studio Sculpt may become oily at the end of the day and Estee Lauder can be drying, so mixing them was the best of both worlds with the best coverage ever.  In summer I will go back to using Estee Luader Double Wear exclusively.

Are there any products that you have used up that you would recommend?   Leave a comment below and let me know.  I am always on the lookout for Holy Grail products that actually work.
